Football agent Timur Gurtskaya stated that CSKA Moscow is interested in signing Rubin Kazan's 28-year-old forward Mirlind Daku. Gurtskaya reported that the Army Men have renewed their interest in signing the Albanian striker in the current transfer window because of issues with their attack, noting that players like Gondou and Musaev are not impressive. According to the agent, CSKA had prolonged negotiations but is once again trying to purchase Daku. Daku, who joined Rubin Kazan in July 2023, has a contract with the club until June 2029 and is valued by Transfermarkt at €9.00m. He has made 17 appearances and scored one goal for the Albanian national team. Other Russian clubs, including Spartak Moscow and Zenit, have also been linked with the forward.
