VfB Stuttgart, SC Freiburg, and Club Brugge have also been linked with him. The report also states that Baur could become SC Paderborn's record sale. SC Paderborn's current record transfer fee is 4.5 million euros, which VfL Wolfsburg paid for Aaron Zehnter (21) last summer. SC Freiburg recently let a buy-back option for Baur expire. Baur's contract with Paderborn runs until 2027. The Germany U21 international has one cap and a current market value of €4.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
