Paris Brunner transferred from Borussia Dortmund to AS Monaco in 2024 for a €4 million fee and is under contract until June 2028. A return to the German club may be possible, as two sources within the club have indicated that a buy-back option for Dortmund is theoretically conceivable. BvB's Director of Sports, Lars Ricken, stated on the Bild show "The State of the League" that the doors are not closed for Paris but that he does not believe it is a current issue.
