Sunderland considered 22-year-old Zambian international Miguel Chaiwa their second choice for a holding midfield role, with Jules Ahoka as their main target. The club's interest has ended after they officially completed the signing of Ahoka from Royal Antwerp. Chaiwa has also been linked with Celtic, and reports from August 2026 state Hibernian's valuation is £4 million or more.
