According to TEAMtalk sources, Everton are expected to trigger a one-year extension clause in Michael Keane’s contract, which would keep him at the club until the summer of 2027. Keane is happy to stay at the club and feels he can still contribute significantly going forward.

Keane, who has been mainly a substitute for the past three years, was initially set to be out of contract in the summer. The contract extension was officially announced by Everton. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market value at 5.00 million euros.
