Independiente held 50% of Maximiliano Gutiérrez's economic rights and was due to receive half of the 7 million euros paid by Dynamo Moscow for his transfer. The club will only receive 1.73 million euros, however, because at the beginning of 2027, it still owed a payment to Huachipato, Gutiérrez's former club.

A verbal agreement has been reached for Independiente to sell Maximiliano Gutiérrez to Dynamo Moscow for 7 million euros. The proceeds from the sale will be split equally with Huachipato, which owns the other half of the player's registration rights. Independiente holds 50% of the player's registration rights and will receive 3.5 million euros before the close of this transfer window. The Argentine club is required to pay the Chileans two million dollars that it still owed from the striker's arrival, which would result in it netting around two million dollars from the sale.

Dynamo Moscow has again formalized its interest in the 22-year-old Chilean winger Maximiliano Gutiérrez, submitting an offer of six million dollars for 100% of his transfer rights. His transfer rights are split equally between Independiente and Huachipato. In February, Huachipato loaned him to Independiente for one year with a two million USD obligation to buy. The offer would not be enough to secure his early departure from Avellaneda. Talks between the two clubs will continue, and more news on the matter is expected. If the offer increases, the situation could change, as the club needs the potential money from his sale. A sale would also free up a slot to sign a player even with the transfer window closed. The Chilean international has 7 caps and 2 goals for his country. This season, he has scored five goals and provided one assist in 14 appearances in domestic leagues. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.00m. Krasnodar has also been recently linked with the player.
