According to the 'Bild' podcast 'Bayern Insider', FC Bayern's buy-back clause for Maurice Krattenmacher is valued at 7.5 million euros. The podcast also reports that Krattenmacher's contract with SV Elversberg, which runs until 2030, includes a release clause worth nine million euros. Numerous clubs are reportedly monitoring the 21-year-old's development, particularly Bayern, who could re-acquire him at a lower price. In mid-September, when asked about a possible return to FC Bayern, Krattenmacher said that while it is every young player's dream to play for the club, he is someone who wants playing time at his age. He also stated his belief that sometimes you have to take detours, which may seem like a step back, in order to then take two steps forward.

Maurice Krattenmacher moved to SV Elversberg in the summer for a transfer fee of two million euros. FC Bayern München secured a buy-back option of an unknown amount when selling the U20 national player. In an interview with the 'OVB Heimatzeitungen', he indicated that he is considering a future third attempt to return to his youth club.
