Maurice Krattenmacher, a 21-year-old German winger and Munich native, moved to SV Elversberg in the summer for a transfer fee of two million euros. FC Bayern München, where the U20 national player was in the youth system from 2013 to 2017, secured a buy-back option of an unknown amount when selling him. Before the transfer, Krattenmacher had returned to Bayern in 2024 after a period at SpVgg Unterhaching and was loaned out twice.

In an interview with the 'OVB Heimatzeitungen', he indicated that he is considering a future third attempt to return to his youth club. He recently scored against them in a league match. He stated that while playing for FC Bayern is a dream for young players, he currently values playing time, which sometimes requires taking detours in a career. His contract at SV Elversberg runs until June 2030, and his current market value is €3.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
