Journalist and commentator Viktor Vatsko stated that there is significant interest in Dynamo Kyiv forward Matvii Ponomarenko from several European clubs. According to Vatsko, German club Werder Bremen is among those monitoring the Ukrainian, along with Ajax, Porto, Midtjylland, and Strasbourg. Vatsko noted that while representatives of some clubs have mentioned certain sums in conversations, no official offers have been made to the Kyiv club.
