Matthias Seidl attracted international interest with two inquiries from abroad during the winter. However, a transfer was not considered by Seidl as he immediately declined. The interested clubs were Trabzonspor from Turkey and Union Saint-Gilloise from Belgium. There were no concrete negotiations as Seidl declined immediately. His contract with Rapid Wien runs until 2027.
