Speaking on Radio CRC, agent Vincenzo Morabito suggested Napoli should target French central midfielder Mattéo Guendouzi, 26. Morabito contrasted Guendouzi with Kobbie Mainoo, a player he believes is too young and needs to mature. Morabito stated that the Lazio player would go to Italy quickly and would be a suitable player for Antonio Conte, adding his view that Conte wants players who are familiar with Serie A. He noted that Guendouzi dislikes being on the bench and that his manager Sarri is unpredictable with him. Morabito also said that Napoli's president De Laurentiis would be willing to offer the player a salary of €3 million a year. The agent concluded that a transfer would be assisted by Lazio's uncertain situation, which is forcing the club to sell.
