1h ago

West Bromwich Albion have signed 32-year-old English goalkeeper Matt Ingram from Oxford United on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee. Ingram departs Oxford following their relegation to League One, having made one Championship appearance for the club after joining from Hull City in 2024. The move comes even though he signed a new two-year deal with Oxford in the summer of 2025. Ingram will compete with Max O'Leary and Josh Griffiths for the starting position at his new club. He told the Baggies website that he considers West Brom a massive club with significant ambition and described the transfer as an offer he could not refuse. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €300k.
