Belgian attacking midfielder Mathis Servais could leave KV Mechelen, as English club Millwall is attempting to sign the 21-year-old. Millwall, who did not achieve promotion to the Premier League last season, are reportedly negotiating a deal with KV Mechelen valued at approximately €6 million. The fee would be a record purchase for the English club. It is said that a five-year contract is available for Servais, who joined KV Mechelen last summer from Beveren for €1.2 million, but he has not yet given his final answer on whether he wants to move to England. His contract at KV Mechelen runs until June 2029. In the 2025/2026 Jupiler Pro League season, he made 22 appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
