Mathis Clairicia, a 23-year-old center-forward from VfL Bochum, is reportedly close to joining FC Alverca. The Portuguese top-division club is expected to sign the Frenchman on an initial loan deal lasting until the end of the current season. Since arriving at Bochum in the summer, Clairicia has not scored for the first team in nine second-division appearances and one DFB-Pokal match. The forward's contract with the German club runs until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €400k.
