Mathew Ryan Transfer from Lens to Lorient
Lorient has shown interest in acquiring Mathew Ryan, who is now a free agent after his departure from Lens. The club is making progress in their pursuit as they are in need of a new goalkeeper due to Yvon Mvogo's choice not to renew his contract. Ryan, a 33-year-old Australian, served as the starting goalkeeper for Lens in the latter part of the previous season, during which he played 14 matches, allowed 17 goals, and achieved 6 clean sheets. He left Lens on July 1st and is also the captain of the Australian national team, which has secured a spot in the upcoming World Cup. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated at 2.50 million euros.
