The portal soyfutbol.com reports that CF América is monitoring Mateusz Bogusz, a 24-year-old Polish attacking midfielder who is considering leaving his current club, Cruz Azul, and is seeking a winter transfer after changing his agency. The club from Estadio Azteca had previously tried to sign the player last winter but was unsuccessful. Their renewed interest coincides with reports that Cruz Azul is negotiating with Agustín Palavecino as a potential replacement. Bogusz has also been linked with a move to Europe or a return to the MLS, with Chicago Fire showing interest, and it is thought the player would prefer a complete change of environment over a move within the Mexican league. Bogusz has five caps for Poland, joined Cruz Azul in January 2025 and his contract runs until the end of 2026. In the current Liga MX Apertura season, he has made 12 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €7.50m.
