According to TYC, Racing is interested in signing Mateo Mendoza from Godoy Cruz. Mendoza is a 21-year-old Argentinian central defender from Godoy Cruz and is on Racing's list as a potential signing. The club's Technical Secretariat has made an initial inquiry, but discussions have not advanced further. The interest in Mendoza is partly due to the possibility that offers could be made for current defenders Marco Di Cesare or Nazareno Colombo.
