Mundo Deportivo has reported that Albacete is interested in securing a loan deal for Mateo Flores from Real Betis. The club has reached out to Real Betis to request the midfielder's loan. Flores is currently participating in preseason training with the first team under the direction of Manuel Pellegrini. In addition to Albacete, Portuguese clubs Arouca and Gil Vicente, as well as the Spanish club Mirandés, have expressed interest in the 21-year-old midfielder. Despite recently renewing his contract with Real Betis until 2029, it is likely that Flores will be loaned out to a club in a higher league. Last season, he appeared in 17 matches with Betis' first team, accumulating 620 minutes across Liga, Copa, and Conference competitions, and also played 1,607 minutes in 20 matches for the Betis B team.
