Mateja Stjepanović, a 21-year-old defensive midfielder, was free to choose a new club after forgiving unpaid wages. His contract with Partizan was supposed to last until 2027, but he received the 'clean papers' to leave. Partizan included a clause for 40% of any future transfer fee in the agreement with Moreirense. Stjepanović, who came up through the ranks at Partizan and made 29 appearances for the first team, will now continue his career at Moreirense.
