Rennes considered bringing French forward Martin Terrier back on loan to strengthen their attack. The 28-year-old played for Rennes from 2020 to 2024, scoring 51 goals in 141 matches. He joined Bayer Leverkusen in July 2024 and is currently under contract with them until 2029. The interest did not progress beyond gathering information about the player. Terrier is recovering from an Achilles tendon tear that made him miss the second half of the last season. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €17 million.
