According to Italian insider Nicolo Shira, Cagliari is among four clubs interested in acquiring Martin Erlić, a Croatian defender. The other clubs reportedly interested are Bologna, Cremonese, and Genoa. Erlić, who was once a regular player for the Croatian national team and a bronze medalist at the World Cup in Qatar, is searching for a team where he can play regularly to reclaim his spot on the national team for the upcoming World Cup. After experiencing a reduction in playing time since joining Bologna last summer, Erlić is eager to find a club that will provide him with more minutes on the field. Transfermarkt has currently valued him at 4.00 million euros.
