Dariusz Adamczuk has stated that all conditions for a potential return of Czech defensive midfielder Marek Hanousek, 34, to Widzew Łódź have been agreed upon. Hanousek left the club at the beginning of the year after losing his spot in the team and joined Dukla Praga. Adamczuk explained that Widzew has made an offer for the player to come back after he finishes his time in the Czech Republic. He also noted that Hanousek might want to stay with Dukla longer if they avoid relegation. The proposed plan would involve Hanousek joining Widzew's reserve team as a player while preparing for a coaching position. He is currently undertaking coaching courses. Hanousek said he does not yet know what will happen, stating his current focus is on helping Dukla Praga remain in the top division. He confirmed his family would like to return to Łódź but emphasized that nothing is certain. Hanousek has a current Transfermarkt market value of €125k and has 7 caps for the Czechia U21 team.
