According to the Portuguese publication 'Record', Legia Warszawa is one of the clubs interested in striker Marcos Fernandez. The transfer has met an obstacle, as Espanyol's 36-year-old striker Kike Garcia recently sustained a serious injury and will be out of action for up to half a year. 'Record' notes that Espanyol now views Marcos Fernandez as an immediate solution, which has significantly complicated his departure.

'Record' reports that Legia Warszawa is one of the clubs interested in acquiring Marcos Fernández from Espanyol. A move to Warszawa is considered unlikely because of a two million euro buyout clause in his contract, unless Legia would consider a dry loan.

Preston North End are attempting to sign Espanyol striker Marcos Fernandez but face strong competition from European clubs Real Mallorca, Real Oviedo, Lecce, Estoril, and Legia Warsaw. The 23-year-old, who has a contract with Espanyol until June 2028, drew interest after scoring 14 goals in 36 games on loan at AD Ceuta last season.
