Trabzonspor are in active negotiations to transfer defender Marcos Maitan from Venezuelan club Monagas SC, according to Fanatik. The club's scout team has monitored the 18-year-old for a long time, and coach Fatih Tekke has approved the transfer. A transfer fee in the range of 4 to 5 million euros is being negotiated by the parties. Maitan's contract with Monagas is valid until December 31, 2027, and includes an option to extend for two more years.
