Marco Sala is a new player for Avellino, and the club has deposited his contract with the Lega B offices. Sala joins on a permanent deal from Como, where he had been out of the squad in the first part of the season. He made 29 appearances during the 2023/24 season, helping Como achieve promotion to Serie A. The details of the agreement are pending the official announcement from Avellino. Tuttoavellino.it reported that Avellino's sporting director, Mario Aiello, described Sala's playing characteristics and experience.

Marco Sala has left Como on a permanent deal and, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, has already signed with his new team after passing his medical examinations. Marco Sala was under contract with Como until June 30, 2026. The sporting director of Avellino, Mario Aiello, confirmed the deal, stating that Sala was an opportunity that arose before the market and that they acted on it immediately.

Marco Sala, a left-back born in 1999 who is not part of Como's project in Serie A, could potentially join Avellino. Como's sporting director, Carlalberto Ludi, stated to Sportchannel that it is not a secret that there have been discussions about Sala. Ludi mentioned that the player deserves a great chance after being the victim of a somewhat strange market situation last year, and noted that a club like Avellino would be a great opportunity for him. Tuttoavellino.it reported that Ludi confirmed it is an operation he will definitely pursue in this transfer window, and they will see if the move is to Avellino or to other clubs.
