According to Tuttomercato, Avellino has successfully pursued Filippo Missori, a 21-year-old Italian defender, surpassing Reggiana in the competition to sign him. The transfer is anticipated to be finalized soon, which will enhance Avellino's relationship with Sassuolo, following the acquisition of other young talents such as Kumi and D’Andrea from the same club. Despite Reggiana initially contacting Sassuolo, Avellino took the lead in the final stages of the negotiations. Missori, who has made 16 first-team appearances with Sassuolo, including 8 in Serie A, 4 in Coppa Italia, and 4 in Serie B, is set to complete Avellino's right defensive flank. In the meantime, Reggiana is now exploring other options for their right wing, considering players like Alexander Jallow and Kevin Maussi Martins. Missori has a contract with Sassuolo that extends until June 30, 2028, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €1.30m.
