Houston Dynamo has submitted a formal offer of $1,000,000 for 60% of the rights to acquire Marcelo Saracchi, a 28-year-old Uruguayan left-back. Boca is expected to provide a response in the coming hours. Saracchi, who has 11 caps for Uruguay, is under contract until December 2027 and has a Transfermarkt market value of €2.00m. The offer from Houston follows reports in July 2026 which claimed Boca Juniors would consider offers of at least $3 million, while in June 2026 some reports suggested a fee of around £2 million would be sufficient. In addition to Houston's interest, the player has also been linked with Celtic, Independiente, and Estudiantes.
