According to Italian football insider Nicolò Schira, Turkish club Trabzonspor has contacted 33-year-old Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozović about signing him as a free agent. Brozović has been without a club since his contract with Al Nassr expired. The midfielder's desire is to return to Italy, where he was previously linked with Juventus. Italian media reported in mid-August that he had been offered to the club, and La Stampa reported that his agency discussed a potential free transfer with representatives from the Turin-based team. It is not known if Juventus will pursue the interest.
