It is reported that Coventry City are considering a move for Ipswich Town's Marcelino Nunez, contingent on the club failing to secure promotion. The Sky Blues have identified the 26-year-old Chilean playmaker as a potential target following his debut campaign at Portman Road, in which he provided three goals and 10 assists in 35 Championship games. Nunez moved to Ipswich from Norwich City last summer for a reported £10m. Coventry are interested in signing Nunez after the season but could be unsuccessful if Ipswich are promoted to the Premier League. As Nunez's contract runs until 2029, Ipswich could demand a fee of around £20m for the player. Nunez has 33 caps and 5 goals for Chile. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €10.00m.
