When asked by Tomasz Ćwiąkała if the transfer is unrealistic, the club official confirmed this, stating it is rather unlikely.

Górnik Zabrze acquired Marcel Łubik on loan until June 30, 2026, and there is no buyout option. Augsburg did not want to agree to a permanent transfer, which allowed Górnik Zabrze to secure the player on loan.
