Despite the ongoing negotiations for Carrizo's transfer, Manchester City is working on a deal that is lower than his €16 million release clause, and they have ruled out a loan move to River Plate, which contradicts earlier reports. Carrizo's current contract with Vélez Sarsfield is valid until December 2026, and his market value is estimated at €6.00 million by Transfermarkt.
