Widzew Łódź is considering initiating negotiations for the transfer of Logi Tómasson, a left-back, from Samsunspor. The four-time Polish champion is interested in the 25-year-old Icelandic international, who has 16 caps and one goal for his country. Tómasson joined the Turkish club in July 2025, and during one season he made 46 appearances, contributing two goals and four assists. Widzew Łódź might begin negotiations with Samsunspor for the player, whose contract expires at the end of June 2029. The portal Transfermarkt values the player at three million euros.
