According to De Limburger, the club is interested in signing 21-year-old Dutch striker Lequincio Zeefuik, a move that is considered more realistic than another of their targets. Zeefuik has personally indicated that he wants to make a move this summer. The forward, who signed for AZ in 2024, is not part of the team's current plans due to the presence of Mexx Meerdink, Troy Parrott, and Jizz Hornkamp, and spent the second half of the 2025/2026 season on loan at Heracles Almelo.
