Portuguese left-back Leonardo Lelo, 26, has joined UD Almería, a team in LaLiga Hypermotion, on a loan deal from Sporting Braga of Portugal's first division that includes a purchase option at the season's end. This is Lelo's first time playing in Spanish football, having previously spent his entire career in Portugal. Last season, he played 47 official matches for Braga across the domestic league, the Cup, and the Europa League. His contract with SC Braga runs until 2029 and he has five caps for the Portugal U21 team. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €6.00m.
