Kang-in Lee  Transfer from Paris Saint Germain to Atlético Madrid

According to diario As, Mateu Alemany, director of Fútbol Profesional Masculino at Atletico Madrid, wants to use his relationship with Kang-in Lee to attempt a transfer or a loan with an option to buy. L'Equipe reports that PSG has no intention of allowing Kang-in Lee to leave, and that he is under contract until 2028. L'Equipe confirms that the Spanish club's management is trying to convince the Parisian club to release the South Korean international. Last summer, when Kang-in Lee expressed his desire to leave, PSG's management refused, explaining that Lee was considered an important part of the squad. The position of PSG and coach Luis Enrique has not changed, and they do not want Kang-in Lee to leave Paris. According to L'Equipe, the French club's intention is to try to convince Kang-in Lee to extend his contract and they want to meet with him in the coming weeks.

AS affirms that Atletico Madrid is interested in Kang-In Lee. Spanish media indicates that Mateu Alemany, the director of football at Atletico Madrid, was present in Paris to watch the match between PSG and Lille with the objective of accelerating negotiations with PSG for the player. AS specifies that the Madrid management has the required funds for such a deal, after the sales of Gallagher and Raspadori generated nearly 60 million euros. Atletico Madrid is also considering the option of a loan with a purchase at the end of the season.

Atletico Madrid is considering Paris Saint-Germain's attacking midfielder Kang-in Lee as a replacement for Giacomo Raspadori, who has departed for Atalanta. Marca and AS reported that Mateu Alemany, the director of football for the Spanish club, was in Paris on Friday to begin discussions with PSG.

Rumors have emerged about Atlético de Madrid's interest in 24-year-old South Korean winger Kang-in Lee, who is seeking more playing time prior to the World Cup. PSG has set a high transfer fee and requires a replacement before any agreement can be made. Despite achieving significant success with PSG, including a quintuple win, Lee's personal contribution has been minimal, prompting him to look for a new team. His limited playing time has caused concern in South Korea, particularly with the World Cup approaching. Although he has been associated with clubs like Napoli and Tottenham, Atlético de Madrid has surfaced as a possible destination. PSG, however, insists on not releasing him without a substantial offer and an appropriate replacement, complicating the transfer situation. Lee's contract with PSG is valid until 2028, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €25 million.
