César Luis Merlo reports that Boca has officially signed Leandro Lozano from Argentinos Juniors. Boca announced the arrival of the Uruguayan right back, who was acquired for USD 3.5 million and signed a contract lasting until December 2030.

According to TYC, Leandro Lozano, the Uruguayan right-back from Argentinos Juniors, is currently undergoing medical examinations and will officially become the first signing for Rodolfo Arruabarrena's Boca Juniors. Lozano will sign a three-year contract with the club after Argentinos Juniors accepted to sell his rights for 3.5 million dollars. He is set to join Boca's preseason and occupy the right-back position.

The transfer of 27-year-old Uruguayan full-back Leandro Lozano to Boca has been finalized, and he is expected to sign a contract until December 2029. The final terms of the deal involved Argentinos selling 100% of the player's rights for a net fee of $3.5 million, which differed from a prior arrangement of 90% for a gross sum of $3.5 million. Lozano joined Argentinos in January 2025 and made 14 appearances, providing 2 assists, in the 2025/2026 domestic league season. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €4.00m.
