A Bola reports that according to the Argentine press, Boca Juniors is considering signing FC Porto defender Nehuén Pérez if negotiations for Francisco Álvarez of Argentinos Juniors do not materialize. Factors that appeal to Boca Juniors are Pérez's European experience, including spells at Atlético Madrid and Udinese, his knowledge of Argentine football, and his national team career. FC Porto has not received any proposal so far.

Argentine defender Nehuén Pérez is being considered by Boca Juniors following an injury to Ayrton Costa. The coach of the Buenos Aires club, Rodolfo Arruabarrena, considers the defender an above-average value to strengthen the central defense. While Boca Juniors' intention is to pursue a loan, FC Porto has completely ruled out this scenario.
