River Plate are aware that Manchester United are interested in their 22-year-old defender Lautaro Rivero and intend to sign him this year. The one-cap Argentina international has a €100million (£87m) release clause and his contract runs until the end of 2028. Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, and Strasbourg have also been reported as having an interest in the player.
