Lassine Sinayoko is in conflict with the Auxerre management over the terms of his departure and has gone on strike. He wishes to join Paris FC and is already in Paris. Paris FC is close to an agreement with AJ Auxerre for a fee estimated between 6.5 and 10 million euros. Sinayoko is under contract with AJ Auxerre until June 30, 2027, with an option to extend for one season, and earns an annual salary of 1,180,000 euros.

Hull City reportedly attempted to sign Lassine Sinayoko and was prepared to offer €13 million, excluding bonuses. The sum agreed in principle between Paris FC and Auxerre is believed to be a confidential fee between €6.5 million and €10 million, excluding bonuses. Sinayoko is said to be determined to join the Parisian club, despite the higher offer from Hull City.
