Kristian Hlynsson, an attacking midfielder born in Odense in 2004 and of Icelandic nationality, is transferring to FC Twente. He was under contract with Ajax until 2026. He arrived in January 2020 from Breidablik and debuted in the first team on December 15, 2021, in a Cup match against BVV Barendrecht. He played 45 official matches for Ajax, scoring 10 goals. In the second part of the 2024/25 season, he played on loan at Sparta Rotterdam.
FC Twente is interested in Kristian Hlynsson, who is allowed to leave Ajax as he is not getting playing time under coach Francesco Farioli. His management is aware of the financial terms set by Ajax for a loan, and Hlynsson himself will choose his new club.
