Mohamed Toubache-Ter reported that Widzew Łódź has reached an agreement with Montpellier for the transfer of 22-year-old French-Moroccan midfielder Khalil Fayad. Toubache-Ter also reported that UD Almería, from the Spanish second division, remains in contention for the player. A final decision on the matter is expected either this evening or tomorrow morning. Fayad, who has been capped three times for the France U20 team, has a contract with Montpellier until June 2027 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.50m.
