Kenny Tete is on the verge of joining Everton following a verbal agreement. He is expected to sign a three-year deal with Everton, who hold the thirteenth position in the Premier League. Tete, formerly with Fulham, was available on a free transfer. Although PSV and Ajax expressed interest in signing him on a free transfer, he ultimately decided to join Everton. During his tenure with Fulham, Tete missed several matches due to a knee injury. The 29-year-old right-back, who started his career in the youth system at Ajax, appeared in 22 league matches for Fulham this season. He had previously transferred from Ajax to Olympique Lyon for four million euros before moving to Fulham for 3.2 million euros. Now, after spending five seasons at Craven Cottage, Tete is set to make the switch to Everton.
