The contract of 37-year-old Polish winger Kamil Grosicki at Pogon Szczecin expires at the end of June next year, and Widzew Lodz is reportedly conducting serious talks for a potential transfer. Speaking on Kanal Sportowy, Mateusz Borek stated that while a meeting has occurred between Tan Kessler and Grosicki about an extension with his current club, Widzew's sporting director, Dariusz Adamczuk, has made a strong approach for the player. According to Borek, Widzew wants to sign Grosicki either immediately on a contract for half a year plus two years, or on a free transfer after the season if he does not reach an agreement with Pogon. Borek added that a serious conversation is supposedly occurring between Adamczuk and Grosicki. Grosicki has been with Pogon Szczecin since August 2021. He has earned 100 caps and scored 17 goals for Poland. In the current Ekstraklasa season, he has scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists in 6 appearances.
