According to journalists from Fakt, 23-year-old goalkeeper Kacper Tobiasz is nearing an agreement on a contract with English club Middlesbrough. In the previous season, Middlesbrough competed for promotion to the Premier League but lost to Hull City in the play-off final.

FootballScout reported in May that representatives of Middlesbrough showed interest in Kacper Tobiasz, but according to gazettelive.co.uk, the topic of his transfer to the club is no longer current. The outlet also states it was told after checking that if Kacper Tobiasz is close to joining a Championship club, it is not Middlesbrough.

Middlesbrough's squad currently includes two goalkeepers: Sol Brynn and Seny Dieng. It is stated that Kacper Tobiasz would not be guaranteed a spot in the starting lineup. According to a FootballScout report in May, Tobiasz was on the club's radar.

Middlesbrough are interested in Legia Warszawa's 23-year-old Polish goalkeeper, Kacper Tobiasz. Tobiasz is a former Poland youth international whose contract with his current club expires at the end of June. The contract is not expected to be renewed, which makes a free transfer this summer likely. The Turkish club Samsunspor had also previously shown strong interest in the player.
