Konyaspor showed interest in Widzew Łódź's Albanian midfielder Juljan Shehu, 26, making three separate offers. According to Piotr Koźmiński from Goal.pl, the first two bids were for €450,000 and €650,000. The final offer, as initially reported by Daniel Sobis of Eleven Sports and Tomasz Włodarczyk of Meczyki.pl, was around €1 million plus a 20% sell-on clause. Widzew Łódź rejected this proposal and indicated that they would do the same for any higher bids. The offer to the player from the Turkish club was for a salary more than four times his current wage. While the transfer window in Turkey has closed, clubs from Spain, Italy, and the MLS are also reportedly interested in Shehu. Widzew has proposed a contract extension to the player that would double his current salary, but a journalist believes discussions with the player's entourage could still yield a successful outcome. The player's market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.20 million.
