The player's contract with the Venezuelan club is valid until December of this year, meaning any departure would need to be negotiated. Pérez is attracted by the prospect of playing in a European league. A move to Breidablik of Iceland was previously close in the 2022/23 season but was prevented by a serious knee injury.
