According to Mundo Deportivo, Girona is showing interest in acquiring Juan Berrocal. The player, currently with Getafe, is not considered a central element in coach José Bordalás's plans. Last season, Berrocal participated in only 21 matches and is willing to consider a move. The anticipated transfer fee is approximately 1.5 million euros. However, Girona faces competition from Metz in France, which is also eager to secure Berrocal's services. The French club is working towards completing the transfer for a similar fee of about 1.5 million euros, which appears to be the established price for the defender. Although Berrocal has a contract with Getafe that runs until June 2027, both he and Bordalás are amenable to his departure, as Bordalás had already consented to his exit the previous winter.
