Fabrizio Romano reports that an agreement has been reached between all parties for the transfer of 18-year-old Ecuadorian Josué Caicedo to FC Barcelona from the top-flight club LDU Quito. The deal is reportedly a loan that includes an option to buy. The option to buy could become mandatory under certain conditions, which would lead to a transfer fee of approximately €2.5 million for the left-sided wide player. Caicedo began playing for the first team during the current season and made 7 appearances in the LigaPro Serie A. He is initially intended for Barcelona's reserve team. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €300k.
