Joshua Zirkzee Transfer from Manchester United to PSV
Joshua Zirkzee is considering a departure during the next transfer window, and clubs like PSV Eindhoven are monitoring the situation. He was signed for nearly 42.5 million euros in the summer of 2024 and is under contract with the Red Devils until 2029, earning 6,556,231 euros per year in England.
According to TEAMtalk, PSV Eindhoven are seriously interested in signing Joshua Zirkzee and view him as an attainable option capable of improving their attack for the remainder of the season. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano noted that clubs across Europe are monitoring Zirkzee’s situation, adding that his profile is suitable for many systems and that he is versatile, young, and motivated ahead of a World Cup cycle. It is reported that Zirkzee wants regular first-team football to improve his chances of securing a place in Ronald Koeman’s Netherlands squad. Sources close to the player suggest that Zirkzee remains fully professional and committed to United but is growing more concerned about his lack of playing time. United is reluctant to let Zirkzee leave mid-season but is aware that interest in him could increase if his situation does not improve by early January.
According to TalkSPORT, Joshua Zirkzee is reportedly a target for PSV. PSV was also interested in him during the summer and viewed him as a dream candidate, but a transfer was never seriously discussed. Zirkzee wants to leave Manchester United this winter. He has played only ninety minutes this season, spread over five substitute appearances, and is no longer in the plans of Ruben Amorim.
According to English outlet TalkSPORT, Joshua Zirkzee is once again being considered by PSV. The Eindhoven club was already interested in the striker in the summer, viewing him as an ideal candidate, but a transfer was not seriously discussed. Zirkzee would add competition at PSV and brings height and game insight, which are qualities the club has been missing since the departure of Luuk de Jong.
Ben Jacobs stated that for January, PSV are open to a loan deal for Joshua Zirkzee. Jacobs also mentioned that Zirkzee could ask for a loan move to get minutes with the World Cup in mind.
Last summer, Joshua Zirkzee was linked with PSV, but he was not interested at that time.
PSV is reportedly interested in signing Zirkzee to replace Alassane Plea, who is sidelined until 2026 due to a knee injury. Zirkzee, a Dutch international, has been identified as the ideal candidate to lead PSV's attack. Although PSV has not yet approached United regarding the 24-year-old, it is anticipated that this will occur soon. The Dutch club is contemplating an initial loan deal, emphasizing Zirkzee's potential role as their primary striker, which could improve his prospects of being selected for the Netherlands' 2026 World Cup squad. Zirkzee is under contract with United until 2029, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €30.00m. Besides PSV, other clubs such as Napoli have also shown interest in the striker.
