According to Voetbal International, FC Groningen is interested in Joris Kramer and has made an initial offer to Go Ahead Eagles for the 29-year-old Dutch Centre-Back and captain. Go Ahead Eagles rejected this first bid. Joris Kramer has attracted interest from clubs from both within the Netherlands and abroad. At FC Groningen, Kramer is considered a potential replacement for Dies Janse, who is returning to Ajax. VI writes that there is significant interest in Kramer from both domestic and foreign clubs. The amount of the first offer is not known, but it was considered too low by Go Ahead Eagles. Go Ahead Eagles would prefer for Kramer not to leave this summer, but are aware of his ambitions. Kramer has previously stated he would prefer to stay in the Netherlands, as he does not see himself moving abroad for family reasons. Kramer said that he has a four-year-old daughter and would miss her terribly if he played abroad, adding that he definitely sees a move within the Eredivisie as an option. Kramer joined Go Ahead Eagles in July 2023, and his contract is valid until 2028. In the 2025/2026 Eredivisie season, he made 34 appearances, scoring one goal and providing three assists. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €1.80m. FC Twente has also been associated with a potential transfer for the defender.
